Yes it important.
See all those springy metal that stand off on the back of the IOSHIELD that touches the motherboard? They're called "EMI springs." Their purpose is to maintain lots of points of electrical contact with the motherboard's jacks, to prevent any long gaps that would allow...
The Swiftech MCW30 is the most universal i heard that too but round here can't get. I find another suitable NB block. Besides EK, Aqua Computing and MIPS also do. I do some measuring thanks.

There is a great pic i found of the TRUE on the T2RS i try and find it. I been on alot of forums so its a question of where hehe. It will explain alot.
Thanks it's something i considered but the DFI LP LT X38-T2R is almost 2x the price of the T2RS here and the T2RS is giving like for like performance. X38 is now over stockists are not ordering anymore X38.
Can now get DFI in the Uk :D. I would of liked the DFI LP LT P35 T2R which is the only one they don't stock, so i going for the T2RS instead.
I want to cool the NB and VRM's of this DFI LP P35 DK T2RS board. If anyone or owners of this board know what Northbridge and VRM watercooling blocks...
This board fits an Ultra 120 Extreme with the fan pointing backwards with just a whisker of clearance between the pipes and NB heatsink. There is enough clearance heightwise. So if it can fit that I can't see why it wouldn't fit the 90.
@n7
well it's not as simple as doing more vcore, it will not make a difference. I now found out theres a 400FSB wall with this board using Quads exactly what i'm experiencing. Switching to a P5K Premium gets 3.8.
for anybody who's thinking to pickup a cheap 65mm G0 Kentsfield to run with the P5BD and overclock it. i will tell you DON'T!. i have high end watercooling and can just manage 3.4gig. it passes 24 hour benches but still resets. i had a 6400 to 4gig stable with it. a quad is alot stress on this...
go into bios northbridge settings and turn on memory remap. it will then show 4Gb. when you use post it will display 4Gb even before you enter XP x64, or in system info in the bios.
@Idontcare
yes hehe first time using a quad and can report the VID is 1.3000.
@Markfw900
the older chipsets to make compatible with G0 was a needed update bios. this gets them working but it still makes them poor overclockers. the board not optimised for this chip but in my case this quad...
I am using G0 65mm quad Kentsfield on a P5B Deluxe. Any VID between 1.35 and 1.40 is stable for me at 3.4. temps 23C idle on water. no matter what i do i cant get it stable at 3.6. it gets less stable the more i go over 1.4. I am at least pleased this board get it this high when i notice others...
Ok I have an answer. You wait! and save a heap of money. You skip the X38 and Penryn upgrades next year and with your wise patience and money saved your rewarded with a Nehalem (say goodbye to the nb):) which will give you a more satisfying speed increase and fun oc benefits, and can be smug in...
