Official HD7770/7750 Reviews Thread

If I compare 7750 to my 4870 512mb , the 7750 looks very good . My 4870 has 2 pcix6 power conectors atatched vs none for the 7750 . And still 7750 is only around 10% lower performance vs 4870.And that's just amazing if you ask me . My 4870 was $150 3 years ago.

Crossfiring as an upgrade?

Its hard to say what is better .5870 is about 50% faster than 5770 .And I think most games will get 50% more from second 5770 .However some games might get more than 50% inprovement in cf .6870 is 5 to 10% slower than 5870 .Whatever you get will work on 1080 monitor very good.

Will SB mean a significant drop in current processor prices?

Yeah Intels cpu's don't drop in price for some reason.They get new cpu that performs 10% better but has same old price.MC had I7 920 for $199 now its I7 950 for that price.So that's a real price drop.Better cpu for the same money .Thats how intel cpu prices works. However AMD's prices are...
