So Dragon Age 2 is really bad on the PC and consolized?

I just finished my second playthrough of DA:O 'as it was meant to be played' (I had messed up my party build the first time I played it last year) after being completely disappointed with DA2. Without question, DA2 is a steaming pile of dung compared to the masterpiece that was DA:O!!

Most Graphically intense game for PC?

Can you suggest some good graphical mods for Crysis? I searched on the great interwebs, but not able to figure out which are the best. I recently reinstalled Crysis on my upgraded rig (see sig), and would like to turn up the graphics to the max, 'just for fun'. Don't care about frame rates...

I've just finished Act-II; NOTHING you do in this game seems to effect the outcome. I tried all the options, and the storyline doesn't change one bit. WTF.

Thanks, seems I had missed a couple of secondary quests.. did those just now and got some more cash. I also roamed the city at night killing several gangs and looting the corpses. Sold off my extra equipment and finally managed to raise enough money. Sad thing is, I had something like 65...

Defrag Good ?

Since I still use mechanical HDDs, I continue to defrag. It's useful to maintain consistently smooth disk performance even on heavily used drives. Just stick an automatic defragger on the system and be done with it...configure once, leave it alone, and don't waste any more time thinking about it.

Once you go SSD, you'll never go back.

DSLR lens(es) for real estate

Another vote for (atleast) a 12-24 mm if you want to do serious architectural shots. It's a really good lens, except for some CA issues in high contrast conditions when wide open. It's color, sharpness and rendering are very good. Versatility-wise, probably the sigma 10-20 definitely makes...

First DSLR: Pentax, Nikons, Canons..?

The pentax k-x lacks illuminated AF points in the OVF, which may or may not be a problem for you (for me it was, when I tried a friend's K-x). A better option would be the new K-r which seems to be an all-round excellent camera and has a few useful features that are not available in the K-x.
