Searching a Forum takes you to login

If I go to a forum, say For Sale/Trade - and tell it I want to Search This Forum, the drop down opens. I put in what I want to search for. It then takes me to login. Even though I'm already logged in. I put in my credentials again, click proceed...no search results.

If only I could get it from buy.com and not one of their other vendors listed as selling - can't add it to cart as it's not buy.com anymore for this item. can't google checkout either =/

Hmm - shoulda asked your dad, first.....Calling mom and "telling on dad" smells of a momma's boy to me. Sounds like one ****** up family - glad I'm not in it.

And I've been using one for a year and a half...my brother using one for over a year, and never a problem <shrug> Anything can do anything, to anyone, for any reason. "A few" doesn't quantify anything. I'm sure "A few" people had problems with OCZ Modstreams...I'm sure "a few" had problems...

New computer build, Win XP Pro SP2 booting slowly

I'd also make sure you have the motherboard drivers installed for your motherboard. FIRST thing you should install after a fresh OS install, then update with service packs, etc. I've never had a problem with boot times with large drives. My current p4 3.06 system with an ASUS mb at home...

Microsoft Free Second shot promotion is back

It's too bad that MS certs are near meaningless in the real world. Real World experience > MCSE's to me when hiring folks. Ah well. Nothing wrong with the retakes though, really...

Convert binary to decimal

I always remembered to just label the columns 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 Filling in from right to left (because it's binary) 1 1 1 1 0 1 1 Every place there's a 1, you add it's base to - 64 + 32 + 16 + 8 + 2 + 1 = 123 M

BTW - Here at my office, when someone has spyware, I run no less than 4 diff anti-spyware progs - MS, Adaware, Spybot, and Dr. Spyware....as NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEY WILL FIND EVERYTHING. So you could run 20 different ones, and sometimes, spyware will evade them all. Quit being a dink and...

HSBC interest rate to 4.80% in response to ING

Tis why I like my Paypal account....4.38% interest, and 1.5% cash back on all card purchases using my paypal cc. Never had a problem with them....can't complain even if the interest is a little bit less.
