Is there any way to rick leopard into recognizing a PCI device. I know it "sees" them. I managed to get a PCI wireless networking card to work, right now I'm looking for a workaround for a P2 card reader.
Thanks a lot. So I'll assume the rest of that build should be okay. I'm gonna read through this thread some more, but I think I'm pretty much ready now.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
I already have an external HD so I guess I can use that, don't know why I didn't remember before when Cork mentioned external enclosures.
With the Acronis Program can I just restore individual programs on a new build (without worrying about the...
Thanks again for responding.
Just to be sure,
Is there a way to this without additional hardware and using free software? I'm trying to minimize time and any additional costs.
Also, where do I find out if a Thinkpad model supports a second removeable drive?
But let's say I was to go...

More specifically, I'm cloning a HD from an IBM Thinkpad type 2897 to one of the...

Short answer is I should be okay, right?
I've been lurking these forums and learning quite a bit for a while now, bout time I joined...
I recently bought a 1GB Corsair Twinx1024C2PT dual channel kit, but it wouldn't fit in my Gigabyte K8NS-939 mobo without removing the clips. The heatspreaders seem like they're stuck on there...
