Hahahah... I agree, it feels like they think buying VGA card like buying a new car, but new car is something to show off, I have no idea how to show off a VGA card. I would have assumed there are 2 condition that these new vga sell other than higher performance hike than previous release : 1...

Wow thanks My take on Nvidia next update 3070 Super will be on GDDR6x and higher CUDA cores count 3080 Super will be higher RAM amount and higher CUDA core count :)

This turns out to be false based on JayzTwoCents at youtube, actually FE card benefiting on cooling other component as air flow from 3080 inside case still in lower temperature as other peripheral, so that mean more air push inside the case which benefiting the CPU and RAM as well directly...

Question What's the best RAM for a 3600 XT

Great result. I use the 32GB kit of the 3600Mhz CL16-16-16 at CL 14-14-14 only get around 63.5ns in AIDA and 62.8 custom latency at DRAM calculator...since 32gb is dual rank I think it has its limitation as well How would you know if your mobo has certain topology? Mine is MSI B550 Tomahawk?

News GIGABYTE confirms GeForce RTX 3060 8GB, RTX 3070 16GB and RTX 3080 20GB

I think 3070 Super will come up with GDDR6x, exactly like they done to 2060 to 2060 Super but keeping the 8GB RAM, while 3080 Super will come up with higher GB of RAM and CUDA cores

Its all make sense for RTX 3090 to use blower, since it is the only one on current 30xx line that support SLI. For those content creator or designer which use it with SLI, only blower card that suit their need.

The key is use an AIO, no more potential higher CPU temp because of bad air flow, plus added benefit of cooling your RAM from 3080 FE. If the second fan of the 3080 FE is not blowing hot air, that mean the card is cooled by only one fan, kuddos to Nvidia by designing such cooler then. I don't...

Well in my case, as I still using Noctua air cooling hsf with pushing air configuration, I still prefer an open fan configuration instead of FE, as hot air will blend with the cold intake air from my front fan which I directing my AC to, before goes to my CPU directly

Question B550 motherboard that woud suit my needs

agree with this, and also on most B550 you can't run 2x NVme m2 drive on Gen4, and if you happened to use more than a GPU, you can only use 1x NvmE m2 drive. However I did simple research previously when I search for a B550 motherboard, however my search narrow down to 2 result, MSI B550...

Question Are M.2 NVME drives reliable?

I also find NVme quite reliable, havent have any problem since first time I'm using it a year ago. And if you're not a heavy user, I think any Nvme will be good for you, you wont notice the difference between the fastest and slowest Nvme if it just used for booting and run an application

Careful if you have a small case, 3080 FE card will blow hot air directly to your CPU and inside your case, it will provide bad result for those who still have air cooling for their CPU, or have bad airflow on their case. Here what will look like an FE 3080 on regular PC case without modding...

Question x399 Taichi/2970wx problem.

Most current motherboard doesn't have buzzer alarm but provide a debug led for troubleshooting. I always keep an alarm buzzer, since I really enjoying the sound of beep when your system went post, and can directly show what went wrong with the beep :)

If you search RAM for Ryzen, tighter timing will be best for Ryzen platform, so consider RAM timing when you buy RAM. And also current platform of Zen2 have limit on RAM speed 3800Mhz, assuming you will be running 1:1 with FCLK, so 3800Mhz RAM or 3600Mhz with low timing will be the best. Some...
