The Plextor software can cause problems with CloneCD. The Iomega drive is just a rebadged Plextor. From what I hear the renaming takes less than a second and works perfectly. :)

Didn't mean to imply the 2100S is a great card (don't know, don't have one) and enough people are having performance problems with it to make you think twice. But HD Tach 2.6x probably isn't the best to benchmark a RAID array.

HD Tach is no good for testing RAID arrays. Try RAIDmark or just write a large file to the array and time it with a watch. It's the write performance that counts, right?

For DivX video editing VirtualDub is the way to go. Use a lower data rate encoding with Flask but you can adjust it in VirDub. Encode to PCM and convert to DivX audio - you can adjust the bit rate for audio too.

A site did a review with pics of the RAM and it's the same as what was used on a GeForce DDR.
The multimedia center can be installed after the drivers. Click on the ATI icon in the taskbar to see if it is installed.

The reserve sector could be corrupted and if it is even rebuilding the array won't fix the problem. Here's the instructions for removing a bad reserve sector. I had to do it once after a few rebuilds with different stripe sizes. Don't forget to read the warning halfway down the page!

No. Something isn't right but I could only suggest to start from scratch and rebuild the array. Not something you can do without losing the data. The CPU usage should max ~15%...
The VIA MVP3 chipset supports AGP 2x and ATA-66. It gives a little more room for upgrades over the 430 TX boards if you don't mind going away from Intel. My personal preference is for Tyan but that's only because I haven't used a Epox before.
