Thank you rudder,
I use a thermaltake 3 pins. It's already plugged in the 4 pins connector motherboard.
Therefore 1 pin is not used. My main problem is that there's no auto-regulation speed of the processor fan.
In a previous message altiyyab said that without a 4 pin fan connector the Bios...
Thank you,
I've got 2 others connectos 3 pins:
-At the back.
-At the Front.
If I plug my processor fan on the Back connector fan, usually used for the tower temperature... Will the motherboard be able to increase/decrease the processor speed fan in auto/mode?
Therefore I can conclude...
OK,
I've just pluged my fanmate from zalman. it comes with a 3 pins connector too. So on the motherboard there's 1 pin which is not used. Now, I'm able to control the fan speed but manually. I set to 800rp/min (Notified by Everest Software).
I can hear the silent...
The only solution to...
OK I'm gonna buy the fanmate from Zalman but I'll have to check my CPU Temp during the summer...
However I dont even know what is maximum temperature that a Core Duo E6400 can support?
With my thermaltake fan, when I run the "stability test" from Everest, I reach about 60°C.
If a 3...
Thank you Alitayyab,
I checked this morning in the specification motherboard.
You're right, the motherboard fan connector is a 4 pins. My Fan Thermalatke comes with a 3 pins only.
Do you know if there's a way to convert a 3 pins -> 4 pins connector?

Hi,
I've just installed this MotherBoard with the E6400 Core Duo.
It's stable but I have a problem with the Processor Fan (Thermaltake orbit Blue II).
Even when I dont load my computer the fan runs a 1600rp/min.
When I try with everest to "BottleNeck" the cpu with a loop program, the cpu...
