AMD 7970 original. Is it still a good card for gaming?

Limitation of Integrated Video?

iGPU is fine. I just upgraded from an AMD X2 5200+ with a AMD 5570 GPU to a i3 4130 using the HD4400 and I must say I was overall impressed with the iGPU. The only short coming was deinterlacing which is nowhere near as good as AMD's vector adaptive deinterlacing. Tuner wise TunerSalad works...

Gigabyte 780 GHZ - strange noise

I have the 2x Gigabyte 780 OC with WindForce cooler and one of my card's makes this noise and only at idle. Put it under load, fan spins up and noise goes away, fan spins down, noise still gone...... until it comes back. I contacted Gigabyte but they fobbed me off saying it was normal.

ASUS,MSI or ASROCK

Is this common problem with Gigabyte Windforce 3x 770 \ 780 crashing?

Ah that makes sense now. In the summer months I may have to get a large side fan to help cool my pair. At full load they dump a tonne of heat into my case to the extent where my mainboard temperature is substantially higher than my CPU temperature when gaming.

If I had paid AU 1300 for a titan, right now I would not be happy. You could see the Titan debacle happening a mile off though.

Yep I should have got blowers. My previous 5870 wasn't a blower and it was whisper quiet compared to my mates blower, which was why I chose a non blower for my 780s. Now the bottom one cooks the top one. If going one blower and one not, wouldn't it be better to make the bottom one the blower?
