Issue with RAM not being usable in GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD5

it appears to be based strictly off the timings of the ram. It seems that i have 4 good sticks and 1 or 2 (2 per channel c ... either 1 or both) that cannot keep up with the timings while the RAM on the other channels can. Its not 'bad' RAM as it is hitting its advertised speeds, just that...

i found the issue, as you can see i had overclocked it to 4ghz .. but somewhere along the way I lost my channel C ... setting the everything back to scratch has all of them appearing again. I will have to bump my clocks up slower this time and keep an eye on this. I assume the QPI clock...

yeap, that was exactly the issue down to the t. everything appears to be working properly now. I havnt tried to set up a subdomain but I assume that is just a new cname. Thanks for your help, Matt

I was able to test the power supply and GPU and both work. I hooked power supply up to old computer using the 1x24 and 4x12v CPU power. So that narrows it down a bit. That leaves: A) the other 4x12v CPU connector on PSU faulty (unlikely) B) The motherboard C) Either the CPU or the RAM...

New Build Problems - Asus P6T

unfortunatly none that will power this card .... I do however, have an old x800xt (pcie 1.0) card which I am going to try next and if it passes that test, then it would be between the video card and the PSU not pumping out its advertised juice. IDK if I could use the old PSU though cause it...
