USB to serial adapter

In my job as an electronics engineer I have been using a lot of usb to serial adapters over the years;... and learned A LOT. Here is what I got out of it: The majority of adapters are designed with either a FTDI chipset or a Prolific chipset. There is also a lesser known called Silicon Labs...

Core i5-3210m normal temprature?

Noisy fans is never a good thing. However, the max operating temperature of the Core i5-3210m is 105°C, so I wouldn't worry.

USB hub?

D-Link is making several good powered USB hubs. I have been using the DUB-H7 without problems with several high current devices attached at the same time. Not sure if upgrading your memory would help.

Unclogging NEW Hp inkjet cartidges.

I had this problem with some older ink-jet cartridges, I did everything to try and un-clogg them, alcohol, warm water, high-pressure air, nothing worked. Then I decided to take one of the apart to try and find out what it looked like inside. It appeared as it was not clogged at all, no old or...

Xeon for gaming?

I have been using the Asus P8B WS with a Xeon E3-1275 for about a year now. Works with non-ECC memory. Im using it mostly for business but its great for games too. Its the best rig I've ever had. Total reliable and lightning fast. Highly recommended.

How to add eSATA to a motherboard?

You may also be able to use a ePCI to eSATA card if your motherboard supports this.
