What do people see in beer?

Would you consider it fair to decide that you dislike cheese, after trying Velveta and Kraft Singles? (And maybe, for the sake of argument, something "fancy" like the red wax ball of gouda...) Well, in the case of beer I'd go so far as to say that Bud/Miller/Coors/Corona, and even such things...

Nah, I've had quite enough myself, I agree that you have a fine definition for the lay person of Virtual Memory, as long as you acknowledge, as you seem to be doing, that how it's defined for the layperson doesn't necessarily provide a 100% accurate description of reality. Forget that point...

It's probably worth pointing out at this point that x^x^x does not equal (x^x)^x it equals x^(x^x) that should resolve any concerns about monotonicity in haircut's (correct) answer.

the answer is trivial: the refrigerator full of beer will require more energy to keep cool, because CTho will keep raiding the damned thing. Seriously though, the empty fridge WILL use more energy from the utility company, due to the shorter on-off cycling as the air changes temperature more...
