I am curious as well.. we ran into a similar situation today, but the NEC drivers didn't help one bit.. I'm chalking it up to an old Firmware in my Seagate 7200.12(500GB) drive.. I am going to upgrade tomorrow and see if it helps.
Blain, congrats on 20,000 brother! We've been members almost...
Ubiquiti?? This is the 2nd one I've reccomended today! They are cheap, POE, can be an AP/Router/managed bridge, open source, DD-WRT Compatible, and ready for outdoors (with a little weatherproofing)... and best of all CHEAP!
Only one I would stay away from is the Bullet2HP (B/G single band...
I recently started having the same trouble, mainly when undocking. My screen resolution momentarily changes, and changes back to full resolution. It is driving me crazy also. I tried disabling the Intel Display Service, but then my 2nd monitor refuses to automatically enable when I am docked. I...
Are you just going to do a simple bridge (PtP?) or going to have a 3rd access point inside the 2nd location? or are you trying to shoot some wifi over to the 2nd location? I would personally stay away from that hawking for $50. Why don't you get yourself 2 Ubiquity Nanostations for $40-ish. They...
BLAIN! Nice to hear from you again! I was actually pulled back into the forums looking for some info about TV's and a newer version of MemTest (having a random lockup issue on my linux server).. and there you were. Thanks for the post, Cheers buddy!
how's about one of these Mini-Marshall Stacks

HAHAHA after 18+ years, that about sums it all up. I always wondered what they meant by 'Air' until I encountered my first Mackie Console with an 'Air' knob!
Laughs!
Old Country - George Jones, Lefty Frizzell, Ernest Tubb, Hank Snow, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash (who I never considered 100% Country), to name a few..... this new stuff is awful and 85% of it shouldn't be called country.
Slightly O/T - It's not about the Volume, it's the percieved volume. Record Companies have started a backlash with Engineers. Records are being produced (mastered, actually)to appear to be Louder than the other guys. This is done by limiting the dynamic range (silly, given the dynamic range of...
plain stupid, They'll probally just slap a big warning label on the thing. I own a Live Sound and Lighting Company, and we often joke about the day we get sued for mixing a show too loud. No more joking, It'll probally happen sooner, than later. It's to the point now where I spend $1800 on a...
