For $200 and that includes 2 Noctua black out fans and Morpheus cooler, I got a card than is quiet even with full load @ 65C. A deal of a lifetime if you ask me.
I'll be back in summer 2022 for RDNA 2 vs Hopper. Right now Ampere as usual will crush RDNA 2 again, near and far future ( in tech...
Who would want to use inadequate for early samples ? I never said Ampere didnt run hot, it does but that comes with the features and performance one might expect. RDNA2 on the other hand is still pretty much Raja product with MS/Sony added features.
Last time I was here I claimed Vega was a...
Well Im saying this round Nvidia has the Finewine factor but not because of their drivers.
Pretty much a landslide Ampere vs RDNA2. Early RDNA2 samples ran really hot, think Vega OC hot. Microsoft put 1x there for the wow factor, that's it.
Ampere will run circles around Turing, Nvidia has plenty of resources to think far ahead. Turing features will eventually be phased out and renamed with something else, all Ampere related. Like I said, naming scheme is really weird.
Forgot to include 50% is actually meant for the smaller BIG NAVI die at lower clock speed - 5600xt successor. Big Navi is actually only about 30% with very minor IPC uplift. Coretek got it right, partially. 78CU only put it ahead of 2080Ti about 15% in selected titles with tweaked settings. Big...
It's not my prediction. Turing has multiple problems with tensor cores and RT function, they will be fixed and upgraded with Ampere. Ampere is still ahead of RDNA 2 in terms of everything, the gap will not be as closed as you might think. AMD had a bit of trouble with their power delivery for...
I expect 3070 to be faster than 2080ti by at least 10% with 3 times less deficit with RT enabled. AMD still gonna lose this round by a large margin unfortunately.
