If anyone wants to know reqs/sacrifices for full time Youtube/Streaming, see this

Consistency =/= success. Your example of JonTron is another example of a first (joined 2010), and fits into my estimate of 100-1000 gaming related worldwide successful (over 50k/year) Youtubers/streamers. Once you get X subs it's a snowball. YT in general is a snowball machine.

How to cut a small hole in a door with a metal layer? Carbide?

Thanks for the help, I just found some metal screws slightly larger diameter than my hole and got it secured. It's on pretty tight. Live and learn, now I know doors are hollow. Thanks!

The saga continues. This is retarded. I got a titanium bit, made the holes just fine, only to find out that the door is essentially HOLLOW. ?!?!?! I know nothing about doors but didn't expect it to be empty inside. So it looks like it's basically sheet metal on both sides (maybe like 3-4mm...

Is it considered weakness to use light alcohol to meet people?

To each their own. When going to a large social gathering (party/bar), I've always taken a couple shots beforehand. Just enough to loosen up a bit. Newsflash: so has everyone else there. Weakness or not, do it if it helps you, don't if it doesn't.

Help me toddler-proof my deck (so he doesn't fall out or snag a nail)!

Only concern with chicken wire is that it's fairly visible. I have a condo overlooking a pond and it's a great view, don't want to ruin it. I can make do if needed, but looking for something more discrete if possible. Might have to do it though if there's nothing else relatively...

How to cut a small hole in a door with a metal layer? Carbide?

Decided to install a chain lock in my door only to find out the door has a 1/3-1/4" metal layer. I'm assuming just use a regular power drill and a carbide bit? Or something else? TIA EDIT: Thanks for the help, I just found some metal screws slightly larger diameter than my hole and got it...

Quality (1080p) webcam or use iPhone/camcorder?

Hi, I'm looking for a quality webcam or similar (could be digital camcorder) to do some 1080p recording. It'll mostly be my face (like a webcam for YouTube videos) but I would like to record at 1080p60fps so it needs to be fairly good quality. Eventually I may take it away from my computer...
