Learn to use reg to delete a couple of keys on the new windows partition before first boot and you will be fine.

I just tried. It rejected the Crucial ISO. It also rejected freeDOS and Damn Small Linux ISO. It does accept Microsoft ISO though.
There is no need for third party tools.
Mount new drive and partition it.
Use Windows backup to backup and restore system drive to the new disk, all while you are still in windows.
Use bcdedit to correct the bcd in the new system partition:
bcdedit /store h:\boot\bcd /enum

I'd love to see your testing how well the boards handle when all memory slots are populated with a total of 4 GB. This is a very important factor in my buying decisions. IMHO, testing with 256 or 512 MB is just lame.
