If it's the 7.10 Catalyst... Rollback to 7.7. I get similar artifacts like those in several games with 7.10 on my X1900XT. 7.7 and 7.9 do not do those weird jumbles of spiking artifacts with my card.
Well damn. August 8 (yesterday) it was 350. Now it's 330? Good thing Amazon has a 30 day price guarantee, cause I just bought it yesterday. At least I'm glad I bought it from Amazon.
Edit: Well my refund was quick.
Use this
Streamline 2.0
What it does is pretty much flush the graphics every now and then, and there are several settings. You can do it aggressively or very light. Saves very much on texture memory. I'd still recommend QTP II though.
You'll need OBSE for Streamline to work.
I had one of these... cept it was DOA. I'd replace the DOA one, but I found out my Corsair XMS Pro ram wouldn't fit with it due to the plastic shroud. I might just get the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. It's pretty much the same thing without the shroud.
hmm... and i thought CPU was my limiting factor... and GPU... favors ATI. Can't believe my system has nearly the power of a 7800GT with an X800XTPE.
Oblivion engine must be some unoptimized piece of crap. Granted it looks nice, but jeez.
Eh... wrong analogy. The Sohei were warrior monks. Emphasis on the word "monk". "Any Christian warrior or knight" aren't exactly part of the clergy. If I had to define the word "Crusader", it would be Templars or the Teutonic Knights. Or the Hospitallers. But yeah, they aren't literally...
Buddhism wasn't always "peaceful". It had its "Crusaders". Research on the words "Sohei" and "Yamabushi". Of course it wasn't really against another religion, but anyways...
