Case recommendations for media PC?

my bad, the form factor i was referring to was the cube microatx cases like the one u linked..i was considering the antec aria case since its around $100...but would much prefer something cheaper

Case recommendations for media PC?

well, the SB live card isn't a big deal, just the AIW card needs to fit. I was hoping to use one of those mini-cases that are around the size of a gamecube but have no clue how much room is available inside. any suggestions on that route? thanks a ton for the suggestions so far guys!

Case recommendations for media PC?

I was hoping to put it in my media rack so i was looking for one of those mini cases that would look nice. I was going to stream audio and video and also use it as a DVR

I have too many spare parts lying around here so I was thinking of building a media PC. Right now I have the following: ATI AIW Radeon 768MB PC2100 RAM Athlon XP 1700+ DVD +/- R/RW Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 160gb HD I don't exactly know what will fit inside one of those mini cases or...

Dead Laptop except for LCD. Options?

its an older model HP laptop...i think about 3 or 4 years old.... I haven't touched the insides yet besides removing the HD... guess i'll keep looking for info...thanks

Well, my sister spilled CocaCola on her laptop and basically fried it. The HD was salvageable and still works fine, but the mobo is useless. I have no idea if the DVD rom is ok or not. I dont think there is anything wrong with the LCD so i was wondering if there is any way to salvage it to...

HELP! Burning smell from computer...not power supply issue.

thanks for the info guys...read up on the issue on some other threads...i'm out of warranty though so i guess its time to get myself an athlon64 mobo and cpu!

Capacitor looking things near CPU have corrosion on top of them!!!!!

epox boards have a 2year warranty, not 3. if manufactured before september 2002, its 1year... no dice for me.

hmm...u know what.. they are oozing...not just one...multiple ones. i'm guessing thats the issue huh? time for a new mobo i guess. what causes this typically??

Ok...here is the story. I was browsing the web and started hearing a 'working' noise coming from the computer every time i clicked. Core chip temp was 127...not anything unsusual for my comp. Then there was an electrical burning smell so i looked in the case but it didnt seem to be coming...
