Does the word "discharge" ever have a positive connotation?

Discharging an old CRT TV - they hold current for a long time and they can melt the end of a screwdriver.

English fail at my wife's school

One of my friends had to write an account of a story from the bible for a low-end graded final school exam. He couldn't have cared less, so he wrote about Moses and his Technicolour Deamcoat.

Cartoon throwback...who remembers this

The Mysterious Cities of Gold - I remember that being shown on the BBC once a week with Philip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher. It was a running joke between my brother and I that it seemed to have been going for a year and a half, although looking at Wikipedia I don't think they made enough...

Dune (the movie)

I saw the movie on TV in the late 80's with a distracting room of family, who weren't really bothered about it although I was trying to take it in. It intrigued me enough, although I probably heard about a third of the story. The SFX seemed cool at the time. When I finished Uni in the 90's I got...

Barcelona, Spain where they used to fight bulls. Frowned upon, but that's pretty hardass. Also advertising money from herbalife is still money, the adverts during the games help support the NFL too. :) I don't like the new sports kit though personally.

Note the lack of pussy head and body armour in Rugby. They tackle players in similar way at the legs too risking a few boot studs in the face. Also the name is still related to the sport in some way. On the evidence presented so far the NFL might as well be renamed the NHHHL. National Hungry...
