They are not and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. It seems the wrong monitor drivers are loaded. At one point I had the 191T driver installed on the 181T and vice versa, and when I rebooted I had the 181T running on the 191T and nothing on my 181T. There doesn't seem to be...
I have a dual-screen setup. I run a Samsung 191T out of my analogue connection on an MSI TI4400 card, a Samsung 181T on the DVI one. Today when I booted my machine only the 191T came on. I run my 181T as my primary monitor with all desktop icons and process line, and have the 191T to the left of...
I just built a new system with Abit IC7-G mobo, two 80GB S-ATA 7200.7 drives and one regular 80GB IDE 7200.7 drive. It seems that ALL of them start making this "rattling"/vibrating noise when they have been idling for some seconds. As soon as the drives are accessed, they stop making the noise...
I just bought this Trendnet 8+2 port switch (8 10/100mbps, 2 10/100/1000), and the fan is extremely noisy. Noisier than several of my PC's combined. Is there anything to do about this or should I just find a way to get it as far away from my working environment as possible?
TIA

I just got this new nForce 2 equipped board. I use 4 PC's on a TrendNet KVM switch, so I can use one monitor/mouse/keyboard for 4 PC's. But the K7N2G doesn't seem to like doing that. Most of the time it will simply not find the PS2 mouse upon boot, and if it does it will loose connection to it...
I am going nuts here. Everytime I think I found THE 875p motherboard, I read something discouraging.
MSI's board have stability issues, is very RAM picky and what-not.
ASUS seems stable but didnt include ICH5 raid or CSA LAN capabilities (I hope I am getting these abbrevations right).
ABIT has...
o1die: Thanks for clearing that up.
Another question: It only supports 1.5v AGP it seems. So... I haven't been able to find any voltage info on my MSI GF4TI4600 - but I assume it's so new that its 1.5v??
OK whats the verdict on this board. I hear a lot about it being picky with memory. I have two Apacer and two Samsung PC2700 512mb modules - (CL2.5 I think) can I be pretty confident that these modules will actually work in this board? They work fine at the moment in my Max2-LRU MSI motherboard...
A couple of months ago I wanted to add one of the new Yamaha USB2 burners to my MSI 645DX-LRU motherboard. But it
didn't work out well and I got coasters all the time - only very few CD's actually managed to burn, regardless of the burn
speed I tried. And if I tried playing an audio CD with...
I have tried everything to get this damn burner working. I use it under WinXP, and it's the USB2 version. Most burns go wrong - even if I burn at a low 8xspeed with 24-certified media. I have only tried this one brand though. Are there any known problems with USB2 and CD-writers, or the Yamaha...
