I dont think my model has a backlight power cable. According to the Service Manual, the Display Assembly guide on Page 77 lists all the parts for the display. They are: Raw Display Panel Antenna Display Bezel Display Cable (REPLACED) Display Enclosure Hinges (left and right) Webcam/microphone

[Noob Question] How can i connect to my home pc at work?

I can connect from home to work via the VPN, but if im on the wifi or hardwired into works network, how can access my home pc? Remote desktop is set up just fine, its win7, and my laptop is win xp. Can i do this natively thru winxp or do i need vnc or some other 3rd party app?

3 Issues with my computer

Well, at 20db can you fall asleep to it? B/c when my machine is running full blast it gets rather noisy. Is there a way i can throttle it down on demand? at night i can have everything going at like 1/3rd the normal level and still be just fine.
