No problem. :)
Yeah, the WTQ supposedly has a lower response, but it's either complete lies (read: marketing) or ... well ... that's all it really could be, because they seem to be doing a damn good job of "marketing".
Former 226WTQ owner here also.
Stay with the 226WT. Period.
It's such a better panel for anything involving motion that any possible color difference is insignificant. I have played around with the settings on my 226WT and you can get the colors to be very "vibrant" although they aren't...
I'm not sure what panel the samsung is using; I can vouch for both types of LG panels. I got the l226WTQ from Circuit City and absolutely hated it (returned it). Ghosting halos for about a half inch around trees in BF2. I now have the L226WT from BBY and have NO ghosting issues in the hour I've...
I have a pair that I use too. They are comfortable, and they do a good job of blocking out external noise because of the ear cups. In my mind they do live up to a lot of the claims, but they aren't all that powerful, especially in the lows. I don't think they're worth the $150, but...
I'm gonna have to agree with ITloser on at least one thing. I've had 2 NF2 Chaintechs, and they've been nothing but trouble in the long run...just not worth it.
Gt should do you just fine
GTX = ~430-450 mhz X 24 Pipes
GT = ~400 - 450 X 20 pipes
Shop around and look for the highest clocked one you can if you're really looking to get a bit more perfomrance out of it.
If you really want to get the best bang for your buck, then you're going to want to go with something more like 200 or 250GB.
Monarch usually has some pretty good deals on drives, and for the 200s and 250s you can get them for under .50 a gig usually...
It would be a tough thing to do, especially with an AMD, since they're clocked lower. Most of the time a processor's maximum speed is unpredictable until it is actually clocked up to its maximum. It all depends on the manufacturing process and luck of the draw. Also, usually processors with a...
I don't know about anyone else, but I've had nothing but good (awesome) experiences with Monarch. this deal looks pretty good too. ~$.40/GB, and it's got a 16MB cache. What else could you ask for?
Oh yeah...the 5 year warranty I said originally. It's only a 3...
Frist, I don't think you should invest any more money into this system. Just by the fact that you assembled some hardware will make you much more comfortable with doing it again. It seems like it was pretty far out of your control as to whether or not this system was going to work.
There is a...
