Hmm, talking about the bridges on many drives that basicly is an SATA adaptor for a PATA drive?
Anyway, the small possible diffrence in PATA vs. SATA is because the chache can be accessed faster with SATA

I've been searching Samsung's press releases, can't find anything about a 5 year warranty. Anybody got an URL?
But what if he creates a virtual NIC for comp1 & 2? Is that possible in Win? Maybe using two IPs could get the job done?
That would be like 2 cables between comp1 & 2 which he could use ICS on one and bridge the other?
If that isn't possible you could buy two extra NIC's; one for comp1...
