My upcoming PC

Thanks for that info. I'm now looking at the 144 since that's in the same price range. It seems likely to be able to get that to 2.8 GHz, but a lot of people have been able to get the 3700+ San Diego to that as well. I'm currently looking into which one is the better performer. Well...

I have, and as far as I can tell they are all dual-core. That technology is not quite matured yet. Actually, the code has yet to catch up to the hardware, so I'm waiting on games to make good use of two cores before I go that route, as this is going to be primarily a gaming machine.

Format large external drive as FAT instead of NTFS

You can't do it with FAT but should be able to format with FAT32. You should be able to do it with partition magic.

New Logitech mx510 Sensor doesn't work

Just for the record, I called up Logitech and the guy sent me a new mouse for free :). Still have the old one, but I'm just going to throw it out I guess.

Yeah, refurb info. I guess I should've mentioned that this isn't for the faint of heart. I won't know if mine works until my proc gets here early next week. Even if mine works, it won't mean yours will or vice versa I guess. I don't think it's too big of a risk though.

Abit NF7-S Rev 2 Refurb $39 + shipping

Considered by many to be THE nforce2 mobo to have, mwave has it for $39 + shipping. I don't know if shipping varies by location, but the total for me was $47.87. Good deal to me, so I pulled the trigger. It is refurbed, but I couldn't tell. Came with all of the accessories.
