Firewall or Anti-Virus program?

Hey I'm using Outpost Pro firewall trial now. Whenever I open Azureus or something, tons of pop up asking me to allow this or allow that. I know it asking for our permission or now, but dang, using Firewall is kinda too much hasle. I guess I'll have to do preset and stuff later on? What about...

Is open UPnP safe?

Sorry if I posted in wrong forum. Well I'm pretty sure I didn't mess anything with my Router, I leave the same setting which works with Azureus before. But after I reinstall Window and Azureus, Azureus can't work right. Now i have to leave UPnP on in router in order for Azureus to work...

Is open UPnP safe?

I used to have my Azureus working fine without turning UPnP on. Just Port Fowarding on my router and I get Green Smiley face all the time. But after I reinstall Window, and my Azureus give me NAT error all the times. I still used the same old port that worked for me in the past. Also, I don't...

Ohh okay, thanks for the inform. I guess I'll just stick with Antivir + Spyware program for now. It had been 1 year without Firewall and my machine still live. Just better be safe what site to visit and what to download, I guess. Zone Alarm is too much hassle since I used it before.

Why is my BFG 6800 causes lag?

Why is my BFG 6800 causes lag?

Yea, my mobo is a Nforce 3. Thanks for pointing that link out. I though it was my graphic card that starting to act up. No wonder when I use the beta 81.xx driver, I don't get the lag but when I use 7x.xx, I get lag. Thanks again.

But how come other people with similar spec as me can use the newer driver just fine with out freeze/sound lag? Is it "each computer is different"?

Why is my BFG 6800 causes lag?

I'm using driver Forceware 77.77 now, but when I play games such as Halo, it causes lag randomly. It's like video freeze/sound lag for couple seconds. Hmmmm...I'm using an on-board sound though. I even tried using a Sound Card but the freezing still happen. So I suspect it's my video card...

Lol, not hog at all. I'm just mistype. It just that I don't like using both Firewall and Antivirus at the same time. Too much hassle. Should I use firewall?

How do you change WinXP's icon?
