Pottery Barn sucks - never shopping with them again

This Pottery Barn sells cheap junk at insane mark ups and there designs are nothing special at all. Better off at Target, same quality and often better.

Ultralight lappy with 1920x1080 or higher, replaceable HDD, upgradable RAM?

If you are doing video/photo work then I think the answer is not to worry too much as all laptop screens are pretty lame, and just get an external IPS monitor for photo/video work and get something that is small and light that will fit in the backpack. 1920x1080 is really not enough for photo...

Anybody have a 6th grader?

My boys are now in high school. They both have basic 15 inch laptops and they are more than sufficient to there use. I would not want a tablet for any type of typed assignments. Schools though do sometimes have specific programs that they might want the students to use, and if that is the case...

I have Windows 7 Pro with 8 gigs of ram, and I frequently have more than one user logged on, such as my user logged on in the background downloading torrents while the kids are surfing on line in the foreground. Is it possible to remote into the background user account to be able to say add more...

Got a new Car! 2010 Jetta

I have had over 10 VW's and had no major issues with any of the except for 1990 VW Passat that had a bad auto transmission at 125,000. I would never buy a VW auto, or any other auto if I could help it. I have had them up to as many as 425,000 miles (used to drive 50,000+ a year). Not maintenance...

Restaurant.com $25 gift certificate for $2 (80% off) ANYTIME

I actually had a hard time at a local restaurant. They did not speak very good English and I think they did not understand what the sales person had sold them on. I was a regular customer but they made it clear they would only accept the one coupon.

Dyson DC24 Vacuum for $262

Need a good value graphics tablet (digitizer?)

I have a Wacom Graphire (I think 6X8 the med sized one) on one system and a Medion on the other the Medion was like $49 at Aldi supermarket and I prefer it. It is bigger and the pen while it takes batteries it seems just as responsive and there are a bunch of customizable buttons along the edge.
