Games freezing momentarily

I fixed it. :) Dunno what exactly was the problem, but I cleared the GPU and chipset drivers again and reinstalled the latest. Everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks everyone!

I completely wiped the driver and reinstalled. Morrowind works fine with fewer pauses (only when it loads a new town or something) but Far Cry and Half Life 2 run horribly. I was running both games on high settings flawlessly before. Now both slow down (especially in the outdoor bits of Far...

Games freezing momentarily

I have a BFG 6800 OC with latest nVidia drivers installed. For some reason most games I play (Half Life 2, Morrowind) occasionally pause for a few seconds and then resume. It is incredibly annoying. What is wrong and what would I do you fix it?

Smart choice?

I'm going to be purchasing the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard and an AMD 64 3000+ CPU soon. I have heard many stories about people receiving their K8N and having to RMA it because it did not work. I do not want this to happen to me. Would it be wise to buy a combo at Mwave.com (mobo + CPU)...
