I've run both of these utilities, but I do not have enough experience reading them to be able to sort out what is the real error. The amount of information is incredible. Anything in particular I should be looking for?

RAID-0 and W2K: Anyway to Ghost This and Restore?

Geforce3 is now out and about

V5 5500 and W2k

With an overclocked Duron 600 (running around 950MHz) and the 1.04 5500 drivers, I'm getting on average about 45fps in Unreal Tourney at 1600x1200x16. Undying is also virtually smooth at 1600x1200. Glide games, of course, but they are doing fine on my W2K system.

What processor is the better deal? Duron or Tbird? What mobo to go with?

Amd Duron 600@900 unstable

I've been running a 600@933 (7x133) with a temp of around 40c, using the FOP32-1 with Artic Silver. Voltage is at 1.8. You need to get that temp down in the mid-30s at the 600 default setting before attempting to overclock, I think. Your issue might be be a combination of the temp, and once...

kt7a-raid problem?

You might check the CPU to see if it was damaged or not when putting the fan back on. T-Bird cores are rather fragile and even the slightest chip off the edge of the core is CPU death.

applying arctic silver? to both the die and the hsf? or only the hsf?

I applied it to the heatsink, since I didn't want the silver to contact any of the bridges on the CPU (heard this might cause some problems). I don't think it matters whether it is applied to one or the other, but a heatsink might be a tad porous and I'd rather make sure the heatsink is coated...

Why dont you all like the FOP-38

I accidentally damaged my 1GHz T-Bird trying to install the FOP32-1 while the m/b was still in the case. The force needed to push the pin down with one screwdriver, while using another to flip the lock into place, really requires that you take the m/b out first since most cases makes this sort...

Installing the FOP32-1: Is it supposed to take a LOT of pushing to install?

learned this the hard way My mistake was like burning $190 because I didn't want to unscrew six screws and disconnect a few cables. What CPU did you mess up?
