CrossfireX Ati hd 4870's at 1gb a piece

Running Windows XP Home
When I first started playing crysis warhead I was getting on average 30 fps with highs...
So thats pretty much it. I'm looking for a good custom torture test in prime 95 to let me know if my cpu is stable. I have an e7200 core 2 duo 266fsbx9 at 2.53ghz That I'm running at 379 x 9.5 at 3.6ghz. It's idling at 39c. 1.29 volts. Ram at 759

I'm not too sure about how much I can over clock my cpu safely.
My rig:
E7200 Core 2 duo at 2.53Ghz
2x2gb kingston RAM 5-5-5 ( non oc)
P5q Pro Turbo Mobo
CrossfireX ATI HD4870 at 1gb a piece
750W Silencer supply
ocZ Vendetta2 Cooler
How high do you think I can get my cpu running safely?
I've just starting running crossfire with my two asus EAH4870 both running 1gb of RAM. When I run my catalyst control under Crossfire it shows that I have it enabled but when I check the hardware summary and it says that I have one primary card and one card is disabled. I had one person tell me...
so... he just upgraded. Turns out that he had a micro atx mobo so that had to go. Got the Asus P5Q socket 775 and kept his c2duo @ 2.5 gb. Added 2gb of budget ram (Kingston DDR 800) to match the old ram for a total of 4 gb (running window xp). Now the fun stuff. We got an Asus hd4870 Dark Knight...
Hey guys this is the nephew speaking. I just need to point out that I'm not running an 8800GT, I'm running an ENGTS250 1G, and I'm running bioshock at full settings with vertical sync on 2048x1152 with massive lag issues anytime I run into a lot of textures.
I thought so too!?! I'm heading over there in the morning to check it out... before he goes to the store.
Thanks for the benchmarks for Bioshock, nitromullet. I'll show those to him!
My nephew is all ticked off that he can't run Bioshock at full settings on his new 22.6" lcd. He has a 8800gt, c2duo@2.5 and 2gb of ram. He wants to upgrade but isn't sure how much he needs to spend.
>>I figured that hd4870s with 512mb ram, in SLI [edit: Crosssfire] are the best bang for...
Here's a similar post with a similar budget:

If you're interested in the benchmarks on quad vs dual core a simple chart from Tom's Hardware is pretty useful.
