getting Dell laptop running Vista to print to Airport Extreme

My wife got a new Dell laptop running vista home premium - ugh. I have it on my airport extreme network, but I can't get it to print - any suggestions besides installing XP, or Linux??? These are not an optioni at this time. I have the printer drivers installed and the printer is recognized...

SFF and heat issues

Thanks - I'm not building a RAID, or anything and if the onboard graphics are good enough I'll just run 2 gig's of ram. It's really for internet & multi media and I'll probably put Ubuntu Linux on it. I have a couple of cases & all the other components bookmarked ;)

My mobo and psu are @ three years old now so I'm considering building a new system in small form factor/desktop, etc. I shut my mid tower down about once a week - can these SFF systems run that long in between breaks? I'm thinking heat would become an issue. Any particular SFF platforms you'd...

Accessing corrupt drive to get programs?

Oh man - when I open the drive it shows me Command & the DOS icon - anyway to get it to get it to open and see if there is anything left in there but mush?

Thanks - I'm going to load the programs like Office she had for school work on the new drive. The old one spins up fine I'm just hoping I can pull files over to the new Office programs & save her email & stuff. It's the typical thing - 300 PII w/64mb ram and a drive that was jammed...

Accessing corrupt drive to get programs?

My neighbor tried to install Norton internet security 2004 on her gateway2000 running an LX chipset in Win98se. It failed to load she called me and I performed the tasks that Symantic perscribed and the thing failed to boot. Now the registery is corrupt - this is aparently not an isolated case...

Western Digital Hard Drive that is 40 gig only comes up in bios as 4 gig... help

try running Fdisk and deleting all non windows partitions - maybe that will clear things out - who know's might have a Linux partition on it? in fact you might want to delet all partitions and then write 0's to the drive just to clean it up proper like.

Anyone have this happen before? - AMD thing

I have a customer's system on the bench - wouldn't detect the drives, gets a physical memory dump, etc in Win2k and won't finish booting to the desktop. A7V133/1.4 athlon (not o/c'd), hedgehog HS/F, 512b infineon, yada, yadda. I get him a new board (Biostar M7VKD-Pro) and it won't boot @ 133 fsb...

I'm short on time so here it is: Need he;p on a board that won't boot, beep, bop.

I got a new reatil box Gigabyt 266 board to replace an Asus that is problematic. So I get the board from Newegg and like I can't get it to boot :confused: Noe I'm good at this stuff, but I don't have all week so if anyone can through me their best shot. Biostar M7VKD sporting an Axia 1.4ghz...

P4XB-S 1.8Ghz Wont boot, Why?

One long beep is memory - take your board out of the case and try reseating your RAM on a flat surface.
