Problem with Intel 82852 graphics driver (Thinkpad X40) on Win XP

Windows XP breaking down

Long pauses in BIOS and Windows Startup

Bump..any other thoughts? I timed the pause after the CPU line and it seems to be exactly 60 seconds; does anyone know if something might be waiting and timing out there? When I warm boot (reboot from windows) it just pauses after the W7025 line because it never lists the CPU information...

Waves going down monitor - dual setup

Just following up, I haven't fixed the problem, but I "borrowed" another Samsung 712N and hooked it up and didn't have any problems. It looks like it was the Cornea which is causing problems, but I have no idea why. Separately, they work fine. I'm about ready to give up unless someone else...

Waves going down monitor - dual setup

Would this cause the waves to stay only on one monitor though? It would make sense that the interference is coming on the card if the same port always produced the distortion, but the Cornea monitor never shows any signs.
