To add more info to my original post, the SSD would not boot and was not recognized by Windows when I attached it to the USB of another system.

Sears has their periodic 10% off everything on Thurs Febb 7 - Sat Feb. 9. They sent me an email about it but their web site doesn't mention it yet. This is where I bought my 65" Mits HDTV last year. Highly recommended if you have a big purchase in mind. You do need a Sears charge card.
