Suggestions for case

Best "not too pricey" case would be the Antec 300. Simple and elegant. There's also this as a cheap alternative to the 300 if you don't like solid black.

Upgrade opinions

Your system is fine. Only parts I would upgrade are the GPU and HDD. You can get a faster drive like this one. Other upgrades would depend on how much you have to spend. At 1680x1050, see if you can't find a deal on a 5870 (~$200 last week)/5850 (~$170). Both of those are probably the fastest...

New Build, Looking For Some Advice

If you're getting a new platform, you might as well get Sandybridge. If it's not price gouged, you can fit it into your budget, with a 5870 (sold around $200 last week) as your GPU. If you don't need something so powerful, go with a GTX460 but get the 1GB version. You can even drop the PSU down...

Yeah you won't get great fps, but I was just saying that it COULD handle it. Of course, if you have room in your budget for a 570, go for that.

BCLK is locked on SB. You OC by raising the multiplier which doesn't affect the memory. Props to mfenn for that fact :P. I'd just go for the cheapest 1.5v RAM you can find by a reputable maker. Also, you might as well go for a SF-1200 controlled SSD (or wait on the SF-2000 Vertex 3)}. Intel's...

Starting to consider a graphics card for this build.

Probably the 460 1GB...it'll handle everything at your resolution just fine. You'll want to start saving for a bigger monitor though before you upgrade it any further.

H70 is too expensive for my tastes. I'm sure the Intel HSF will do fine...SB has hit really high speeds using the stock cooler.
