can't play any video files, only get audio. help

i'm having trouble watching video files on my computer. i've used different players, wmp9, mpc, zoom player and all have had no luck. when i play avi,mpeg, or even streaming video. i get the audio, and the screen will resize to what it should be, but none of the video will actually show. there...

from what i've noticed is that there are 2 10%off coupon codes. one is supposed to expire 7/17 and the other supposedly on 8/1, although i have seen some places say that both coupons expire on 7/17 too.

i've been getting these free magazines for the past 4 years. the only one i've never gotten is playboy:( gear has its moments and sometimes they have really classy pics of some really hot girls.
