EP35-DS3L not actually overclocking...

I'm using an EP35-DS3L and an E8400. For about 2 months now, I've had my proc running at 4.005 ghz (445 * 9) stable at 1.25v. After I had my computer shut off for about 8 hours or so today, the clocks reverted to (333 * 9) and default voltages, and no matter what I do I cannot get any...

Whats the slowest computer you've still got in everyday use?

Intel P4 @ 2.4 in an ASUS P4PE w/ 512mb ram, radeon 7000, and a 120gb HD. Runs linux and does fine at web-surfing and word-processing. I guess you could technically count my voice mail system (old DOS Amanda)

You can just alt-f4 after saving, and you can pretty much save whenever you want if you just find a flag (pretty easy to find, there are hundreds).

Antec 182se case and OCZ StealthxStream 600w power supply build question

The Eee! I really would expect something like this on April 1st- Just the fact that they are so enthusiastic about it being "First-of-its-kind" is enough to make me laugh.

Only the Q6600/6700 are 65nm, the others on your list are 45nm.

Is the e8500 compatible with my Gigabyte 965p-s3?

The Gigabyte EP35-DS3L (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16813128337) seems to be the popular choice these days. I used it in my most recent build (E8400 CPU) and I'm very happy with it.

Do you have the latest BIOS? http://www.giga-byte.com.tw/Su...el.aspx?ProductID=2321 If your board is Rev 3.3 it looks like it should support the E8500 with a newer BIOS.

What is the best game you've ever played?

Soldier of Fortune II has managed to keep my attention for 6+ years now. As for single player, I would have to say Fable. I don't want to say how many times I've played through that game.

Need some help - Only 2gb out of 4gb showing

Just had to give em my info and now they're sending the new sticks out. They didn't mention anything about returning the old pair though.

Must have been a mess up at G.Skill. The sticks' labels say 2gb on them and the box says 4gb total.

Slot 1 and 3 both have 1gb sticks of G.Skill F2-8500CL5-1GBPK So, did I get screwed by G.Skill then? Because the sticks' labels say 2gb each.
