*** Official ABIT NF7/S (nForce2) Thread ***

Stats on my stuff, minus the power supply are... Corsair XMS PC2700 (512mb) and, Abit NF7-S 2.XX (I checked using Belarc) Not sure about the rest. My buddy did mention he had the SAME problem with his abit however.

I bought the Abit NF7-S a few months back and it's been cutting out since I got it! I physically have to remove everything from the case, card wise, memory, and such to get it to work again. It seems to like to stay down for a while before it goes back up. I bought this board after HardOCP...

Hit the nail on the head, yes it is a WD, and yes, I did figure it out, the hard way. I don't recall ever running into this problem, but all of my drivers were old prior to this one.

No, it's a long story but I got it fixed. It was simple, the 160gig wouldn't show up being set to master. I actually had to remove the jumper (which is also master) to get it to identify. That solved all of my problems. So I don't have to catch up to technology just yet. I was loopy when I...

PC: Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided - $39.90

I'm not huge on playing massive online games or any games as a matter of fact anymore, but I'm playing this one like crazy. :) I like it, even though they do seem to like to nerf things. We're currently ticked about them nerfing xp when killing things on Lok.
