Thermaltake's Volcano fan IS over rated

Tnt2-M64 slower than integrated graphics on Celeron?

I was told that the integrated were faster than an M64-PCI(which surprised me) and that drivers were better than anything from ATI(which I don't doubt). I'm not inclined to the GF-MX-PCI, because it tested out even slower than a Voodoo4-PCI at Thresh's, so Nvidia may not do PCI well-like 3DFX...

Futureshop? Thnx I'll be calling around anyway to see if they have any closer to home in Burlington or the Falls. I don't think ANY are left in Buffalo or on Mwave or Directron:( Any chance they had V3's? I'm not sure a V5 will even fit in this little HP minitower, plus my F16sim is probably Glide.

When I asked about PCI cards at Sharky's, the answer was that the integrated graphics were actually faster than the M64-PCI(and that the ATI drivers would probably be a problem).

Sorry you had to take one for the team. If you find a decent dealer with Voodoo3s or V4's left(V5 is too expensive), I'd like to know. I'm from Buffalo myself, so if you can find them in Toronto I'll be INTERESTED.

What do you guys think of computer shows?

I went to one in Rochester,NY and didn't like it at all-no way I'd trust that bunch with my money. It's a smaller city in the Rust Belt, so it didn't attract many vendors, and the mood was like some sort of Gypsy caravan. Everybody had the same no-name case for sale(no Enlight, Fong Kai,Inwin...

Advice on PCI card for bargain Celeron?

My own computer is DEAD (good riddance), but I'm a few months from being able to afford a new gaming rig. What can I do to get my Falcon4.0 fix on my mother's Celeron-400-810, while still saving up for a real gaming rig? I can't find a Voodoo around here. Has anyone worked with the Radeon-PCI...

voodoo5 pci $189 and Ati sdr pci $177 (canadian dollars)

I think Thresh's Firing Squad did a comparison of the Voodoo4-PCI and the GF2MX-PCI and the Voodoo4 won easily; to bad those guys couldn't get AGP right(Nvidia's AGP cards are MUCH faster than Voodoos). If you buy the Radeon, please post a review, because I'm also looking to upgrade a...

*sigh* Any PCI cards still out there?

I was hoping I could play Falcon 4.0 when I visit my mother. It's a Celeron+810 (it's NOT MINE, HONEST ;)). The Voodoos look like the best PCI cards, but they're getting @#$% hard to find, and the prices on what's left may even be going UP! People who bought bargain Celerons, but bought some...

Anyone dealt with Outside Loop or the Overclockerz store?

Is there a Duron @ 266mhz Bus?

Overclockers love 'em. AMD may do to the Duron what Intel did with the Celeron and hobble it with the slower FSB.
