Seagate is pretty useless, they won't guarantee a specific firmware/rev combo on a warranty replacement. Thanks, but they seem to not be able to help. Any other ideas?
So here's the deal - I have a blown Seagate 500GB SATA drive, but the drive itself works. It's the controller board that is dead. With the dead board it won't even power up, so I swapped it with a different firmware board and it powered up. Of course, it won't transfer data or get recognized...

The DFI recommendation in the thread doesn't have SLI, but the IDENTICAL board (just with the SLI soldered so it works) is only $5 more at Newegg. Reviews...
I have a AM2 5200+. Dang, lots of choices here. Price isn't really a big issue (under $150 or so) because I got the CPU and video card for free. I recoup my costs selling my old pc anyways, so I just want a nice rig.
That DFI is looking pretty tasty after reading reviews. The SLI version is...
Thanks, Gary, good points!
ATX
Non-Overclocking is fine
No onboard video (although I can always disable if it's on a board with my requirements). I have a PCI-Express X1650XT.
To start with, I have read through the recommendations section and done some research - this isn't a 'use the search, idiot' post.
I need an AM2 mobo with the following -
Firewire
4xDIMM slots
2 PATAs (this is rare lately)
As many PCI slots and SATAs as possible
It also MUST be easy to...
I bought the 520 at Fry's 6 months ago for $499, and it was a steal at that price! This amp is incredible, the sound is pure and warm. Don't even hesitate, it's an amazing piece of work. There really isn't a single thing about it that I don't like. Who the hell uses 7 channels anyways?
Wuhoo,
Unlocking a phone is a whole big process, not for the nontechie. For info, check out this forum -

King,
That's only if you go to an Asian store. I know that their contracts won't let you play around. But if you go to an AT&T store, then you sign only one contract- with AT&T. Then maybe there's weasel room.
You guys are totally missing the potential here - sign up a new account for a free phone, or a good one like the T68i. Cancel, keep the phone, unlock and use on another carrier.
What are the official terms of the cancellation policy? When did you have to be a new customer by? Is there a web link?
You missed the worst part of accepting this offer, though - you just accepted 9PM evenings, whereas the 300 min/unlimited is 8PM evenings. I'm holding onto 8PM as bloody long as I can.
Does anyone know their nameservers address? Is it the same for all accounts? I'd like to change my domain's nameservers now at my registrar, so when my account becomes active in 2 weeks there's no propogation time.
Thanks!
