Need a good pair of earbuds!!

I really like the Sony EX71s. They have really good sound, and excellent bass, but only if you choose the right size earplugs out of the 3 sizes they come with. The cord is long, but I like that, the MP3 player can be in my pocket and there's still enough cord. You do need to get them...

Problem downloading pictures from my digital camera

You can solve your problem and extend the life of your camera at the same time as you vastly increase the speed of your downloads. Just buy a card reader and use that. USB 2.0 or Firewire is best if you have those ports, otherwise, USB 1 will still be faster than downloading from the camera...

For those with SBC Yahoo! DSL

After months of trying, I've never completely deciphered the SBC/Yahoo DSL part of our business phone bill. There are discounts from the contract, but there are a number of extra little charges. They don't make it very clear. But since you're in the Bay Area, you may be able to get RCN...

question about an external WD hard drive enclosure

I have one of these, except that it's the special edition clear with neon. It's an okay case, but I think $30 is a little high. For not much more, you could get a case that's easier to open up. Lisa

Any good methods to help pc not be an inhome dust filter?

I found that the foam filters clog REALLY quickly. Now I use squares of cheesecloth, as used in cooking. They catch most of the dust, don't clog so quickly, give pretty good airflow, and are so cheap as to approach free. Lisa

Sirius or XM

Gaming on Wireless Connection

TIVO boxes (DVRs)

I haven't checked in a while, but last time I did, you could hack the Series 1 boxes, but not the Series 2. But I've heard rumors of mod services for Series 2. I feel that for the most part, the boxes are commodity items, the value is in the software, which is mostly the same. The Tivo...

Anyone know anything about Max Theater

It's a scam. I've seen this, or a very similar device, reviewed, and it's crap. A regular TV isn't bright enough to have it's image expanded that much, unless you are okay with a dim image that you can only really see in an entirely dark room. You just don't get something for nothing. Lisa

You might check on the XBox Live forums, as they have considerable experience there networking the XBox. You also might consider going WiFi G, which will ensure lag free play. Lisa

What is the best cable/dsl wireless Router for under 75 bucks?

Wireless networking is whacked up

Do you have any 2.4Ghz cordless phones? They can play havoc with WiFi, and in my experience so far, have a more deleterious effect on B than on G. Lisa

LinkSys WEP Newb Question..

Check if all the devices are set to use the same WEP, 64 bit (40 bit) or 128 bit. The WEP keys are different lengths. Also note that some (less desirable) routers only allow you to enter the WEP key in hex, no ASCII Lisa
