We can take the fraps frametimes from different users with different setups, and if they all have lag spikes, then we say the game is garbage.

C'mon guys, all this arguing is irrelevant, what we need is to start a new game review website that takes into account the game frametime graphs as well as reviewing the game. It will become the top review site on metacritic, because everyone needs such a website. In the end when game devs see...

Another Watch Dogs thread

Everyone said that the game stuttered on High and Ultra textures because of Vram bla bla bla, and that medium textures solved everything. I'm still getting stuttering even with medium textures, it's mostly apparent when driving a car, like every area it's loading there's a 1 second freeze, but...

Why don't any gamemakers ever care about the framerate stability of their games?

Indeed, not a bad idea at all. Why don't we start a game review website that reviews games like all the other ones except that it prioritizes the game's performance and technical issues. I'm serious, is it possible? We could end up on Metacritic.

I've just stopped playing Watch Dogs. Every 2 or 3 seconds while driving a car or running, there's s stutter/split second freeze no matter what settings I'm on, and with an SSD and without. I was just thinking of how beautifully immersive the game would have been if they make all transitions...

Anyone notice games run smoother on Windows mobile than on android?

I don't mean framerate. I've tried 6 games briefly on both android phones: Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC one (M8), the framerate was perfect as they weren't demanding games, but every now and then there was an intermittent stutter during gameplay. It could happen once every 3 seonds, or every 10...

How is Battlefield 4 fun at all?

I mean when you put shooting alone, as in the sole thing you do in a game is run around and shoot things, I can't play that anymore. Anyway, there's no such thing as simplistic or complex shooting, it's all the same, aim and shoot.
