Thanks for the info. It looks like the 2 fans in series thing is a no-go then......I've heard that the 7V mod on the 4 pin has some potential inherent PSU related risks. Is this the case to your knowledge(360W thermaltake silent PSU)??
I've got the V II as well and it does the business if you ask me. It has no window and I've soundproofed it so it weighs a ton but it's quiet and relatively cool with only 2 of the 5 fans running...The front usb connections can get in the way of the case door but that's my only minor gripe...It...

I have some ddr 400 ram and an Nforce2 Epox 8rda+ running @ 170fsb. Now, should I run the RAM at its maximum timing (ddr 400) or will I get better performance synchronising it at 100% with the fsb so that it runs at 340DDR? My gut feel is that faster is always better but do I gain...
Thanks guys, appreciate the advice. I bumped up the vcore 3 notches(1.65 to 1.725 - scuse the earlier typo!). Time to start pushing the fsb now I know the chip is fine and dandy...:D
I've OC'd my 2400+ to 2.25 ghz @ 166fsb on an Epox 8RDA+ board (1.175 vcore and zalman copper flower cooler). The temp at load according to sisoft sandra after 3 hour loop is approx 55 centigrade. Am I killing my chip? It works stably enough on Unreal II for hours..
