HP Laserjet 1020 **UPDATED AGAIN**

I bought the 1020 from Newegg last year and so far it's been a great printer. No delay in printing, I've never had a problem with it. For the price I think it's an excellent deal.

I think there's some misunderstanding.. the $7.20/2 year deal is not available thru Best Deal Magazines. Their 2 year deal is $14.95. As far as I know, they handle all their own subscriptions directly with the publishers rather than farming them out to another party.

I've ordered several subscriptions from Best Deal and only had one problem - a subscription that never arrived. I wrote to customer service and they responded right away and got it taken care of. I'd order from them again. I'd say the best deal I got from them was 4 years of The Week magazine...

That's a good price for the DT-880's. For those who are interested, though, be forewarned that these definitely need an amp - they use more power than the Senn's do. As far as being neutral - I guess you could say that. They don't seem to have any sort of sound character of their own so it is...

I guess great minds think alike, haha. I also had the Grado SR-325i and Beyerdynamic DT-880, as well as a Gilmore Lite headphone amp and sold all of these. I guess I don't have "golden ears" but I really could not hear any worthwhile difference between the Gilmore and the PA2V2, certainly not...

The HD580 is excellent. I have this and the Grado SR80's and these two complement each other very nicely. The Grados are much more forward, like you are right in the middle of the music, whereas the Senn's put you back in the audience. The Senn's are also less efficient so an amp helps. My...

Just to elaborate, the speakers are just the base of the towers, each with a powered 8" woofer. The tweeter and midrange section are a separate unit but are sold out. However, this is a great price and these are gorgeous looking speakers, if you already have the top unit and want to improve them.
