Asus P6T Deluxe v2 with Windows 7

All that have posted thus far: Asus probably won't post any significant drivers or updates to any of their utilities for Windows7 32/64. As for when Vista came out, Asus does not like to trump M$ on drivers and will only wait till Win7 RTM hits. Then you will see the updated driver, etc...

Should I get an exchange for this monitor?

uBit vendors ship Grade A as you indicate. Do not accept the monitor until you are happy with it. uBid and other sites have a Description of what a "Grade A" monitor is, and you should hold them to their standards. Good luck and don't let them beat you down - return shipping is on them.

Having Problems RMA'ing to gainward

@dxky, Well, this was a 3rd RMA pertaining to this particular card. They have swapped me out with 'new' Ti4400s in the past and now that they don't do anymore Ti4400 cards (and they have none in stock) he was kind enough to up me to a Ti4800 (and not the Ti4800SE - which he also dosent have)...

I called them on the US 510 number, talked to the RMA specialist "David" who is extremely friendly and have new Ti4800 coming to replace my Ti4400 GS. Have dealt with them b4 and both times they have responded in what I would call an A+ manner considering the turn-around. I suggest that you...

If you have RMA'ed to Gainward before.....

After they received my bad Ti4400 GS it took them 3 days to send out a new (just off the boat) board. This included the extra day it took to perform the 'test before you ship service' I requested. RMA Tech name is David. Polite, quick, and No BS. Just like a good RMA service should be.

WinXP - Hard Disk not Drive C: !!!

Like AndyHui suggests, Read the FAQs. It is in there and works. All the other advice may work, and if you know it in advance to unhook the offending drives prior to the installation would circumvent your problem. But since you are already formatted and may have some stuff already installed, do...

XP and CD Burner Question

Is this a SCSI machine? If it is, then try this: as soon as u Un-Install the CD from the Device Manager, Shut-Down the machine. Go into the box and Remove the 50 pin SCSI cable to the Cd Drive. Re-Start the machine without the CD Connected. This will re-fresh the SCSI Card and relate the...

Try to use the FDISK /MBR first. Then see if your Format C: command will work.

Recovering CDR files to XP

I would install the Packet Writer Software you were using to burn them if it is XP compatible. The XP UDF is written by Roxio (adaptec) and sux.
