Anyone here good with sound editing? (Audacity)

I made a voice recording and a radio playing loudly in the background is drowning it out. Can I use Audacity to bring out the conversation over the sound of the radio? Or is there a better free program for this? I've tried simple noise removal and compression, but no luck. It seems that...

Is this chili safe to eat?

I made chili last night and fell asleep while it was simmering on the stove from 8pm until 3am. It was uncovered in a skillet. What do you think, safe to eat or throw it out?

Need advice about repair list

Bartman39 - It's the V6 engine. The plugs and wires were replaced at around 60,000 miles. The Toyota dealership didn't like the fact that they were not their brand. T2urtle - My check engine light has been on for several years now. It came on and I took it in to a couple of shops at the time...

Need advice about repair list

I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with 124,000 miles on it. I took it to a nearby Toyota dealer's service department and told them I'd noticed several problems - a whirring noise when I pressed on the accelerator, a hot oil or brake fluid smell, sometimes it took a couple of tries to get it started...

Anyone successfully fought a minor ticket and won?

I did, and it was lucky for me that the officer did show up. I got the ticket for going 45 in a 35, I think. I told the policeman that I knew the speed limit was 45 there but he said I was wrong and to check the sign further down the road in the direction I was heading (south). I did and...
