PC2-5300 vs. PC2-3000

I'm planning to upgrade 1GB laptop of PC2-5300 DDR with 4GB PC2-3000, is there going to be significant speed difference? Any suggestions? Thanks, Grady

Compatibility Issue...? GA-965P-S3

Forgot to say, it works well with Corsair Value Select that I'm currently using, but I can't combine them nor use OCZ's only with this motherboard. I got Corsair Value Select DDR2 2GB Dual Channel kit with 667 speed

Compatibility Issue...? GA-965P-S3

I just bought a RAM OCZ DDR2 2GB PC6400 800 Dual Channel kit. But for some reason it didn't work very well on my Motherboard GA-965P-S3. There's no error message or anything, the screen is just dark when I'm trying to boot up to the operating system. Does anybody have idea about this? It got...

I forgot which one that I bought lol.. but I think it's SmartPower II...? if there's such a thing... haha.. but I remembered that it has a number with it.. anyways, what do you mean by... This design has led to unnecessary RMA and cap failures. thanx..

Power supply fan is not running...!!!

I'm not sure whether this is fine or not, but i just realized that my Antec fan is not running... is it ok? I believe that it should be running at all time right to keep it cool down...? sigh... I tried to find the cable, but I'm not sure which cable is the one that is going to make this fan...

what does SLI means on the PSU? I'm planning to get 8800 GTS, but my PSU doesn't have SLI ceritification whatever... It's Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W..

I'm currently using: Corsair ValueSelect 1GB x 2 (2GB total) 667 But I'm thinking if I would ever buy the 800 version, is that possible to still run dual channel on my PC?

Right now, my PC is on Dual Channel, however, i'm planning to upgrade my RAM to 4GB, do I have to choose the exact same brand, model, and memory specification to run Dual Channel? Right now my RAM is Corsair 2 x 1GB DDR2 667. please help and give suggesiton.. thx
