Sony Officially Announces the PSP Release Date and Price!

PSP going for $249, who's buying one?

Got one too, Dec. 20th. The thing is pretty awesome. They need to work on the ghosting of the LCD screen, though. If they fix the screen, i'll get a U.S. model. Sony said they will be opening up the UMD format to other companies, so we may see UMD burners in the future...

Dell vs eMachines?

How light is light to you? Will you be gaming? Comfortable with overclocking video? If not, get an Acer 4501 or similar, or go ahead with an emachines M68XX. What is your price range? Either of the above can be had for around $1200-$1350

I wouldn't pay that much for that system. The weight plus the integrated video and low battery life really kill it. For that price, you could get a Dothan w/ radeon 9700 that gives you over 4 hours battery life. I know you say it'll usually be plugged in, but if that's the case, why not get a...

There are multiple fixes to the emachines powersaving clockdown. I use one and get around 1.5 hours while playing far cry at 1280x800 very high (no aa) on batteries with the cpu at full 2ghz and video card overclocked to 400/206...

Notebook suggestions....

Is it me, or does your link go to a page that shows the M6810 for $1499 BEFORE rebates of $250 for a total of $1249 after rebates. The M6805 is $1399 before $150 in rebates for a total of $1249, now, THAT doesn't make sense. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...type=category&cmp=

Which Laptop to get out of two choices?? M6805 or Acer AS2012WLMi??

Gaming Laptop - Decisions Decisions

Get the Emachines. The Centrino will not be able to keep up when it comes to games or DVD rips...especially if you overclock the Emachines' 9600 (which is a no-brainer IME) I've got my M6809 overclocked to 450/220 and get around 3300 in 3dmark03...
