Is th Inwin S506 good?

The S506 is the same as the S500 but with a diferent and in my oppinion a much nicer front bezel!!! I just built my first system with this case and for the money you cant beat it, lots of room for its size, easy instalation and good cooling with a front and rear fan(although none were included)...

Will the Taisol CGK742092 fit on a MSI K7T PRO-2A? Need help!

A couple people said that it fit but most had to alter it. I have this same combo and it hit the Toriod(copper wound thing in the upper right corner), but all you have to do is shave a little off the corner of the heatsink and it will fit. I broke the corner fin off and hacksawed the corner off...

Poll: MSI Pro2a - Are you happy?

I give it a 4 and a 1/2, only because I couldnt get my Zip to work with it, although I didnt try too hard. Other than that everything went great and is still running smooth(about 7 weeks), 100% stabile and this was my first system build.

InWin S506 Any good ?

You can also connect all of the L7 bridges on the chip (like the L1's for overclocking the multiplier) and it defalts the voltage to 1.85 and you can set it down from there if needed. Thats what I did with the rear window defogger kit and have had no problems, you could also use the pencil...

Arctic Silver under northbridge heatsink on Pro2-A worked!

7Volt fan mod on 3pin motherboard?

From what I've read (corect me if I'm wrong) to make the 12V fans run at 7V all I have to due is swap the two wires, red and black on fan, or yellow and black on the p/s connector, corect? Would I be able to do this with a fan connected to a 3 pin motherboard conection by just cutting the black...

SiSoft Sondra Benchmark

Do you have your memory set to Auto or Yes in the bios? I was manually setting mine to cas 2 133, when I set it to "YES"(AUTO) in the 1.8 bios it went up to 442/543 in Sandra.

BEST PLACE TO BUY FANS & HEATSINKS?

The only places I have gotten fans or heatsinks from are cool2tech and nerdsbyte.com, I got great service, and parts from both, I would recomend either!

Is there a way to get good memory performance from the K7T Pro2-a?

Do you have it set to Auto(yes) in the Bios? My Sandra scores went up almost 100 points after swiching to auto(yes) from having it manually set to 133 cas 2. Its now at 442/542, dont know if thats any good of not.

Loctite Alternative

I used Permatex brand from Pep Boys, same thing just diferent brand, works fine. As long as its made to reconnect broken defoger grid lines it will work, the right kit should have a bottle of the conductive paint, small paint brush and mine have a little stencil for the grid line, too big for...

ALL 3dfx products removed from Best Buy shelves today

Well the last 3DFX product I bought was the Voodoo 2(great card at the time) and since then they've been hammered buy Nvidia, like they say only the strongest survive... and I was kidding about buying them all, but thats how some people think!!!
