    the only reason I switches to SATA was so that I won't have to use my 5-year-old 5200 RPM Maxtor, so I wouldn't want to have the OS on it. I'll go and try to set up a RAID like EeyoreX did. I doubt that it will help though, i'll post back in an hour to let you know. Thanx
