Okay would be my best cooloing solution for under $35? The case comes with 2 fans and 2x80mm optional fans can be put it. Should I add more case fans or just...
I was thinking about getting XMS PC2700 cause I was thinking I need XMS for some good OCing. Then I decided I have some extra money so I was thinking should I get PC3200 instead so in the future if I get a 2500+ Barton I won't have to upgrade ram. Is that a good idea? Or will OCing a 2500+ with...
They are out of that one last time I checked. Does Newegg restock their reburbished items? I'm not going to be buying any parts until July sometime so right now I'm just getting a basic idea of what i want.
How safe is it to buy the refurbished ones? What if they don't work or something like that? If it's all good then I'd spend a little extra money and maybe get a 9500 Pro.
Ti4200 = $120
8500 Le = $80
Ti200 = $90
Is Ti4200 worth that extra money compare to the others? Or are the framerates and and quality in the pictures very minimal and there isn't hardly any diffference?
Those are both motherboards that have onboard videocards. I know the videocard sucks, but I'll upgrade later so just put that aside. Now I'm wondering which board should I go for? Which one is the better overclocker? Or is there not much difference?
Okay well I'm too cheap so I'm getting a Barton instead, but I don't know what kind of ram I should use. Should I use XMS 2700 or XMS 3200? Or is XMS 3200 overkill? Don't suggest any LL because I'm not going to consider buying it I'm going to be overclocking on a Epox 8RDA+ by the way. By the...
Well I decided I wouldn't get the 2.4C because it is quite expensive. Instead I'm going to get Barton 2500+ because I do want this computer to last a while. However, if 1700+ is really that great of a OCer than I'll get that, but I'm a n00b when it comes to overclocking. Also, what ram should I...
I really want 2.4C because it can generally OC to the 3Ghz speeds with only stock cooling, also that 800Mhz bus helps out a lot. But the thing is, buying ram & the cpu itself is very expensive. However, if I make a PC out of 2500+, it's a lot cheaper but the I can just get XMS PC3200 & there is...
Okay, well someone said that XMS can only do 205Mhz, that means only 5Mhz more than it's original state I guess. Isn't that a waste? Or do I totally have it wrong? But wait, isn't PC3200 rated at 400Mhz?
Whoa now I'm lost. Okay, I'm going to overclock a 2.4C. And say I had PC3200. Isn't it originally 200Mhz? So that means I can only push the ram up by 5Mhz? Or do I have it totally wrong? I'm a totaly n00b when it comes to OCing. At first it seemed easy, but now that I'm getting into more...
