SN85G4v2 Power Supply = Dead

Loud HD2600pro Fan

Hello all. I have an HD2600pro. It works well, catalyst control center works well, etc. BUT The fan is obnoxiously loud. CCC does not over any solutions for fan control... and I know ATI Tools does - but if I were to install ATI Tray Tools... would that interfere with CCC's functioning...

How to setup dual monitor and a HDTV

I am going to tag along to this thread with a separate question... thats related. I'm looking at buying the 7600gt myself and I currently have a 37 inch LCD HDTV. With my old and now dead 9800xt, the only way to run the TV as a monitor was through VGA... DVI -> HMDI just would not work. The...

In need of your Wisdom.

I don't seriously game... and I don't plan to. I would, however, at the very minimum like to maintain the speeds and quality I got with my 9800xt. Also.. of paramount importance if possible is getting my LCD TV to run DVI or perhaps even go DVI to component cables through a transformer...

In need of your Wisdom.

Other than the 7600gt... any other recommendations? Models? Any other insight? Can I go no higher to... lets say... the x1300? x1500? Do they really consume more power than the 9800xt did? Keep in mind that the 9800xt ran on a 200w power supply as well even though ATI website recommends 300w...

I have a Shuttle (in my sig) that HAD a 9800xt in it. The card died the other day and now I am in need of a replacement. My power supply is 250w, though the 9800xt ran well for 3 years and I have heard that the 250 SHOULD be sufficient for most anything (though, clearly, some of you may know...

So it worked! Now what?

Even if that were true... have I proven that? The only definitive fact is that CCC does not load, be it through VGA or through DVI. Would that not be more of a driver/software problem than my TV's inherent fault?

So it worked! Now what?

I installed a new .NET Framework... and no longer receive that error. HOWEVER, CCC remains stubborn. The latest and greatest: errors with my CLI.Implementation and MOM.Implementation. I went so far as to download the CLI Language (I have no idea what it is, to be honest)... but have no idea what...

So it worked! Now what?

So I got a VGA to VGA cable and loaded the computer, installed the new Catalyst Drivers and reloaded the settings. Here are my results: Running on VGA, the highest resolution without overscan I can achieve is 1280x720. It looks good. However, I plugged in my DVI->HDMI cable and the picture...

So it worked! Now what?

Slammy - I went to the web site and followed the instructions... and uninstalled the old drivers before installing the new ones. Upon restarting the computer as the instructions state... I no longer get any image at all on the television. What do I do now?

I connected my 9800xt video card to my 37 inch LCD TV through a DVI->HDMI. The image displays rather well... at 1280x720 resolution. HOWEVER, The picture exceeds the monitor. What can I do, what programs can I download, to scale the image to my display. As it stands... my taskbar isn't...

Connecting Computer to 37 inch LCD HDTV.

Hm... it's just a matter of not being able to return the DVI -> HDMI cable if I were to open it. I got it from the Apple store when I was buying an iPod... Any other thoughts? Anyone else? Thank monty and whomever may offer their advice henceforth. Know that it is much appreciated.
